After one year and 5 months of government service as Communications Assistant Secretary, Mocha Uson announced her resignation yesterday, October 3 at the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) budget hearing at the Senate.
Uson is marred with controversy and repeatedly criticized for her social media posts that compromise her role as a public official in the PCOO.
A few hours after she quit her government position, former PCOO secretary Uson posted an anti-opposition tirade directly to Vice President Leni Robredo. Uson lashed out against VP Robredo for saying that she is still liable for alleged lies and scandals despite her resignation.
On her Facebook post, Uson claimed that the Vice President is the one full of lies, scandals and call her the biggest liar. The resigned PCOO secretary told Robredo in an interview at UNTV:
She lambasted Robredo for her previous video message which was presented at the 60th United Nations Commission on Narcotic Drugs annual meeting in 2017, claiming that she harmed our OFWs.
‘Yun ‘yung kasinungalingan.
